Thermal label line tuned for more roll diameter options
Label orders can now switch roll diameter and core sizes on one line, cutting changeover waiting time.
The thermal label line has completed a specification changeover. Orders with different roll diameters and core sizes previously had to be split across two lines; the same line now covers common parcel, price-tag and service label combinations.
The work focused on tension control and the flatness of rewound roll edges. Flatter edges reduce feeding drift in downstream printers and cut web breaks on large-diameter rolls.
For repeat requirements with fixed roll diameter and core specifications, these parameters are written into the order confirmation so samples and batches stay consistent.
